This Japanese film featured a mermaid character — something quite different from the Splash type. These stills are from a number of sources, mostly contributed, and show the character from both the test film and the final release — with different makeups. The actress is Tomoko Minami or Tanaka. The portrayal involved animatronics and digital effects as well as prosthetic makeup This is one of those films I’ve not been able to see and a video was $70 last time I looked.: I’d be grateful for any captures or information on the plot. |
